Wheel changes & stereo fitout
Today I changed my wheels from 13 x 6 Sport pack wheels to 13 x 7 Superlite deep dish wheels. It really improved the look by adding some width and filling out the wheel arches. I also added the pin stripes and mini cooper decal to the sides of the car. I think it finishes it off.

The other day I noticed that the front wheels were rubbing on my front guards at full lock so I decided to go back to the original 13x6 Sport Pack wheels. I am just waiting on some 10mm spacers and longer studs for the rear. The reason why I changed the wheels in the first place was to bring the rear wheels out wider. Should have thought of spacers earlier.
New Gaz adjustable shock absorbers are also on their way over so assist with the rear wheels rubbing on the Sport Pack arches when the kids are in the back seat.

It has been a while since working on the car as I have been enjoying just driving it. Unfortunately in the back of my mind I still had things to do so as I had this week off I fitted the Gaz shockers and set them to halfway (20pts) as per the instructions. They felt like crap. I did a bit of reading and found that the lowest setting is the equivalent to standard shockers so will set them back to 1 and work my way up from there. Fingers crossed.
On another note, I also removed the subwoofer, Amp & stereo head unit as I was not happy with the sound quality and lack of boot space. I replaced the head unit with a Clarion head unit with Bluetooth and media streaming. The new sub is a Pioneer 10" slim sub complimented with a Pioneer 2 channel amp. I also added 2 Pioneer 4" speakers to the front and customized the boot to give me space and all round better look. Sound is awesome and the car looks a lot better.
